The Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation offers you the opportunity to gain a qualification in a specific area of professional training. Successful completion will satisfy the requirements necessary for specialist Exercise Physiologist accreditation by Exercise and Sports Science Australia. Following completion of undergraduate studies in Sport Science, Exercise and Health, the Graduate Diploma provides you with the knowledge and expertise to specialise in the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries.
The Graduate Diploma in Exercise Rehabilitation is an ESSA-accredited course. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements for admission to this course and demonstrate they meet ESSA’s Exercise Science criteria by means of: (a) a completed degree that is an ESSA-accredited Exercise Science course, or
(b) successful completion of the ESSA’s Graduate Entry Assessment process by the commencement of Semester 1.
Applicants who do not meet the ESSA’s Exercise Science criteria may consider applying for the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology course.
