  • Sydney Medical School is home to one of the largest academic surgical departments in Australasia, delivering courses developed and taught by highly regarded clinicians and academics. Taught in small groups led by subspecialist surgeons, The Master of Surgery (Surgical Anatomy) will enable you to gain an understanding of the principles of applying the best available research evidence to patient care alongside specialist surgical skills.

This stream is coursework based and designed to enable students to undertake a whole body dissection course comprising 4 Units of Study. These 4 units must be undertaken as part of the Graduate Certificate of Advanced Clinical Skills (Surgical Anatomy) over one semester of part time enrolment (Saturday day fortnightly and weekly Wednesday evenings).
