A combination of coursework and research, this stream of the Master of Surgery is designed for those who see their future in the field of orthopaedic surgery. You will undertake a range of core and elective coursework units complemented by a research project in orthopaedic surgery which will be the subject of your dissertation.
As a surgery student, you will learn from highly regarded clinicians and academics at the Sydney Medical School. The knowledge you develop will complement the practical experience you can obtain through the RACS training program, and augment your research, leadership and communication skills. This course is not a qualification to practice surgery.
