The teaching English as a second language (TESOL) postgraduate program is aimed at developing understanding and skills in the area of TESOL.
The courses are also designed to help you develop disciplinary knowledge in the area of second language acquisition, as well as specific knowledge in the area of teaching English to speakers of other languages.
The combination of theoretical knowledge and teaching methodology is designed to equip you with tools for classroom practice as a prospective TESOL practitioner.
The teaching English as a second language courses allow you to study on campus, via online mode, or a combination of the two.
Please note that to study via online mode you will need ongoing access to a computer and the internet as assignments and forum posts are submitted on an ongoing basis throughout the course. Courses cannot be successfully completed via online mode without computer and internet access. These courses do not lead to teacher registration in South Australia.
