The agribusiness value chain is one of Australia’s largest and most important industry sectors, with an estimated value of $436 billion, employing approximately 1.4 million people.*
The Master of Agribusiness provides students the opportunity to develop the conceptual and practical skills necessary for agribusiness leadership, management decision-making, policy analysis and problem-solving in an ever-expanding and increasingly complex global food and agricultural marketplace.
The degree consists of:
core courses, developing general agribusiness management skills and the understanding of the global agri-food sector
a capstone research project, enabling the application of learned skills to critically analyse real-world agribusiness problems, issues or strategic opportunities
elective courses, both within the Faculty of the Professions and across the University of Adelaide, allowing students the flexibility to tailor their program to their individual interests and career objectives.
