The Master of Work Health and Safety Advanced provides a choice of first specialisations in either Occupational Hygiene, Ergonomics or Risk Management, and second specialisations in either Health Promotion or WHS Research. It is intended for students who want to broaden or deepen their studies with a two year degree.
Occupational Hygiene uses science and engineering to measure the extent of worker exposure, and to design and implement appropriate control strategies to prevent ill health caused by the working environment. Health Promotion develops advanced knowledge and skills related to population health. The Research specialisation allows for a significant research project in the final stage of the program.
